Definitions
This privacy policy is intended to be simple and understandable for everyone. As far as possible, we use the terms of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). The official definitions are explained in Art. 4 GDPR.
Server Log Files
When you access our website, data must be transmitted to our web server via your internet browser for technical reasons. The following data are recorded during an ongoing connection between your internet browser and our web server:
-
Date and time of the request
-
Name of the requested file
-
Page from which the file was requested
-
Access status
-
Browser used and operating system used
-
IP address of the requesting computer
-
Amount of data transferred
These data are collected to ensure a smooth connection setup of the website and to enable convenient use. In addition, the log file serves the evaluation of system security and stability as well as administrative purposes. The legal basis for the temporary storage of the data and log files is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.
For reasons of IT security, in particular to prevent attempted attacks on our web server, the data are stored temporarily. Based on these data, it is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons. After a maximum of two years, the data are anonymised by shortening the IP address at domain level so that it is no longer possible to establish a link to the individual user.
In anonymised form, the data may also be processed for statistical purposes. These data are never stored together with other personal data of the user, compared with other data sets or passed on to third parties.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies, which are stored by the browser on your device and which contain certain settings for the use of the website (e.g. for the current session). Cookies help to make our digital services user-friendly and secure. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer and stored by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted after closing the browser. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them or their storage period expires. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser the next time you visit. In some cases, cookies also serve to simplify website processes by saving settings.
If personal data are also processed by individual cookies implemented by us, processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR for the performance of a contract or in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR to protect our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website as well as a user-friendly and secure design of your site visit.
You can configure your browser so that you are informed about the use of cookies, allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and activate automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser.
Cookie settings can be managed for the respective browsers under the following links:
-
Google Chrome: http://support.google.com/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=95647
-
Mozilla Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en/kb/cookies-allow-and-reject
-
Internet Explorer: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/block-or-allow-cookies
You can also manage cookies of certain companies and functions used for advertising purposes individually by using the user tools available at:
https://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices
Most browsers also offer a so-called "Do Not Track" function, with which you can indicate that you do not wish to be "tracked" by websites. If this function is activated, the respective browser notifies advertising networks, websites and applications that you do not wish to be tracked for behavioural advertising and similar purposes.
In addition, you can generally prevent the loading of so-called scripts. For example, the NoScript add-on allows the execution of JavaScripts, Java and other plug-ins only for trusted domains of your choice.
Please note that deactivating cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
Web Form for Requesting an Offer
Our website provides a web form through which you can contact us to request a free offer regarding our services by email and by phone. The transmission of personal data via the web form is encrypted exclusively. If you use this option, the data entered into the input mask will be transmitted to us and stored. Your data will be deleted after your enquiry has been finally processed, provided there are no statutory retention obligations. In the case of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, you can object to the processing of your personal data at any time.
