2. During installation: best practices
- Cleanliness first: Keep the work surface clean and tidy
- Observe torques: Adopt values from the manufacturer, observe sequence, tighten brackets precisely.
- Hoses and cables: Avoid chafe marks and kink radii, use clips.
- Check electrics: Engage plugs firmly and check for leaks.
- Replace in pairs: (e.g. for brakes/shock absorbers)
- Supplement: Do not use excessive force when fitting spare parts
3. After installation: function & safety check
- Teach electronic system if necessary (e.g. throttle valve, sensors, etc.).
- Check for leaks (oil, coolant, fuel, vacuum)
- After installation: inspect everything and check for functionality.
