Returns at ecanis

Your return is always automatically a defeat for us. Because if you don't want to keep the car spare part you ordered, you were either not satisfied or the item simply didn't fit your vehicle.

For this reason, we want to make the return process as easy as possible for you. No long back and forth, but a one-contact solution that doesn't rob you of your valuable time.

We differentiate as follows.

1) RETURN

  • The car replacement part does not fit your vehicle
  • Right of withdrawal: up to 30 days after delivery
  • Free return shipment to Leonberg (DE)
  • Individual car replacement parts consultation by our experts
  • Hassle-free repurchase after an optional car parts search by our team
  • Credit and refund within 15 hours after receipt of goods
Simply contact us. You will be issued with a returns label immediately and can then send the car spare part back to us at our expense. Please just make sure that it is packed securely for shipping and ideally arrives back to us intact.

2) WARRANTY CASE

  • The car replacement part unfortunately does not (or no longer) work, is clearly defective, or shows a specific material defect
  • Warranty period: 24 months after delivery (reversal of burden of proof after 12 months)
  • Free return shipment to Leonberg (DE) with the completed complaint form enclosed
  • Individual car replacement parts consultation by our experts
  • Hassle-free repurchase after an optional car parts search by our team
Just contact us and you’ll immediately receive a return label, allowing you to send the car part back to us free of charge. Beforehand, please complete the attached complaint form to the best of your knowledge, upload it via the contact form (or alternatively send it by email to service@ecanis.de), and also include it in the package. This helps us accelerate the manufacturer’s decision in your favor.

3) TRANSPORT DAMAGE

Just get in touch with us. Once we receive the required photo documentation, we will open a parcel damage claim with the respective shipping carrier. The carrier then decides whether you can return the car replacement part immediately (of course at our expense). In some cases, the damaged part may need to remain with you for around 45 days to allow the carrier to carry out an on-site inspection.

4) PARCEL LOSS

  • The car replacement part was unfortunately lost during shipping and was never delivered to you
  • Notification: within 60 days of receiving the tracking number, ideally as soon as you notice that something is wrong with the shipment status
  • A signed affidavit is required.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions about returns handling at ecanis

How do I get my returns label?

As soon as you contact us, we will provide you with a free returns label by email. You can use this to send the parcel back to us easily.

Once we have received your return in Leonberg, we will process it immediately. The credit note is usually issued within 15 hours.

No. For all returns, complaints, transport damage or lost parcels, ecanis will bear the return costs in full.

Spare parts should always be returned unused and in their original packaging. In the event of complaints due to a defect, we examine each case individually in cooperation with the manufacturer.

  • Returns (revocation): up to 30 days after delivery

  • Complaint (defect/material defect): 24 months after delivery

  • Damage in transit: within 7 days of delivery

  • Parcel loss: within 60 days of receipt of the consignment number

Please fill out the complaint form and enclose it with the package. This will help us to speed up processing and support the manufacturer's decision-making process in your favor.

We report the damage or loss directly to the parcel service. In individual cases, it may be necessary for the damaged spare part to be inspected on site or for us to require an affidavit from you.
